Following the massive success of her highly acclaimed book, “The Year of Magical Thinking,” released in 2005, author Joan Didion adapted her Pulitzer-prize winning novel into a Broadway play in 2007 starring the triumphant Vanessa Redgrave.

This fall, Parisian theatre audiences will get the opportunity to see one of France’s most versatile actresses, Fanny Ardant, in the solo tour de force. Directed (and co-adapted) by noted filmmaker, Thierry Klifa (“Les yeux de sa mère) and with incidental music by composer Alex Beaupain (“Potiche”), “L’Année de la pensée magique” began performances at the Théâtre de L’Atelier on November 2nd.

If you are fortunate enough to be visiting Paris this fall, don’t miss the opportunity to see Fanny Ardant on stage.
