For many, the idea of sending children to a French school is an cosmopolitan concept – and therefore unattainable to those living outside of a major urban center. Fortunately, for Tri-State area residents, that’s not necessarily the case.

The French American School of New York in Westchester County is the best option for Westchester County, New York and Fairfield County, Connecticut residents. The pre-school is located in Scarsdale, and the lower school in Larchmont. The upper school, which is known for its stellar college preparatory programs, is located in Mamaroneck.

The French American School of Princeton in Princeton, New Jersey, is the best K-12 option for New Jersey parents. FASP is a coeducational day school located near the idyllic campus of Princeton University, and offers enrollment from preschool to the sixth grade. Comprehensive secondary school placement programs enroll FASP graduates at many top-ranked international and American private schools.

The French Academy of Bilingual Culture has two campuses in New Milford and Morris Plains, New Jersey, and includes a preschool and elementary school. FABC is set apart from other area schools in that they also offer enrichment programs for external students, summer and after school programs for those enrolled, as well as lessons for private clients and classes for adults.
